Additional Notes:
1) This event was put together at short notice by the promoters specifically for Ross Doherty, who has sold a large amount of tickets for the Guinness Book Of Records World Record special event featuring Steve Ward that was due to take place on the same date, but was cancelled due to Steve injuring his arm two weeks prior. As such there was just the single pro bout supported by two excellent Pink Collar Female bouts and two first class Exhibition Male Contests.
2) I would like to highlight the exceptional Medical team from Medistap, especially Kerry Dawson, as Kerry instituted a similar system to the Dynamic Early Monitoring Boxing Trauma Surveillance (DEMBTS) created by BIBA Medical Advisory Committee member Dr Mark Xuereb
This unique procedure enables the Ringside Medical team members to monitor boxers in competition from different positions around the ring.
A major benefit of this procedure is that besides the monitoring of boxers from various positions ringside, it also provides the Medical team the ability to attend to an injured boxer more quickly if required.
3) The Pro Boxers were scanned by the Infra-Scanners, that detect bleeds to brain, both pre and post fight.
Yours sincerely
