Notes:

On the Sunday following the contest I received a phone call from Matar Sambou who alleged bias from the Referee and Judges, as well as WBF Supervisor David Murphy – immediately an independent investigation panel was convened, all panel members will review footage of the contest and submit their report within 14 days.

Later on Sunday I received a message from Referee Lee Murtagh that Matar Sambou had rang and threatened him, as such a full disciplinary panel was convened and requests for statements from all officials for the event was made as well as from WBF and Masters Supervisors, at time of writing four statements have been received, and others will be forthcoming over the next day or so.

A date for the disciplinary hearing will be set for after the 15th May 2018 in order for the independent investigation report, with regard to Matar Sambou’s alleged bias by officials, to also be available for the hearing.

UPDATED RECORDS:

Tommy Jacobs 7-1-0 and Matar Sambou 3-2-0
