Originally sanctioned for the World Boxing Forum (WBForum) World Middleweight Title.  Contest was rescheduled from 10 x 2 Championship Distance to 6×2 following Halanna dos Santos weighing in at 63.6kg.  Both camps applied to BIBA for the contest to be permitted despite the weight difference citing Ms dos Santos ring experience.  Approval was provided on a reduced rounds basis following a hearing with representatives of both fighters.  Both fighters were also weighed 1 hour before the contest to ensure weight issue was not greater than stated.
